Read more Eat a Bullfrog (2025) merges two potent archetypes—the bull and the frog—into a single mythic creature. The bull, symbol of power and virility, and the frog, emblem of transformation and rain, meet in a luminous body that pulses between masculine and amphibian, earth and water. Its posture echoes the sensual geometries of the Kama Sutra, suggesting balance between desire and meditation. Rendered in tropical gradients of coral, jade, and gold, the figure embodies the hybrid spirit of Indo-Caribbean culture, where Indian, African, and Taíno mythologies intertwine. The work re-imagines the creature as a cosmic mediator, linking fertility to consciousness, ritual to instinct. In its still gaze and poised form, The Bull-Frog Sutra asks how sensuality and spirituality coexist—and whether creation itself begins in the shared pulse of animal and human breath.
