This is a portrayal of a dark Afro-Latina woman embracing her natural beauty and radiance. I used my dear friend Gaby as model adorned in a vibrant, flowing floral dresses that dance around her figure. Her majestic afro frames her face, exuding strength and grace. This work celebrates African and Latin women, inviting viewers to appreciate and celebrate their inherent strength and magnificence.

Central to the composition is the woman’s gesture of holding up a moon. This is a mirror, delicately reflecting her own image. It serves as a symbol of self-awareness and introspection, inviting viewers to contemplate themes of identity and self-love. This artwork features a girl that came about from drawings of Afro-Caribbean textures It stands as a multi-layered collage of identity. Dark orange and azure hues, merged through algorithmic artistry, evoke complexity and depth. I was also influenced by Naoto Hattori, the work becomes a statement about the multifaceted nature of being human, hinting at the layered narratives that shape individuality. It encourages contemplation on the intricate patterns of existence, suggesting that, like art, our lives are a collage of experiences and influences that form the unique masterpiece that is our individual identity.
